This morning I read a simple passage that meant so much which was in 1 John 4:18 where it says "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.

But he who fears has not been made perfect in love" have you ever been afraid of something and it has tormented you? It's horrible!!! Sometimes we make mistakes in life were we end up so fearful of the consequences! What will my parents think? What will my friends think? How am I gonna get out of this one? How am I gonna face this storm? How will I survive?Like in that passage in Luke 21:26 " Men's hearts failing them from the fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth..." But then the Lord took me to that night on the boat in Mark 4:37 when a huge windstorm came as they were on the water.

The waves were beating on the boat so that it was filling...but Jesus was asleep. They woke him up asking him "Teacher, do you not care if we parish?" But Jesus stood up and rebuked the with and spoke the seas into peace! PEACE!!!! Then he asked," Why are you so FEARFUL? How is it that you have no faith?" Boom!!! Right there! That's when he spoke to me! The key to conquering the Windstorms in my life is to have Jesus on my boat and to have faith!!! My question is: Who is on your boat? The one on my boat is best described as "Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey him?" HA!!! That's the truth right there!!! there is no escaping it Who should be the one in my church, or youth group, or worship team? Who can calm all the storms in our lives brothers and sisters? Who is he? The one that makes us perfect in his love and can cast all your fears away? He is Jesus! Do you understand that he loves you soooooooo much! In his love we are perfected. See... it doesnt matter how bad your storm is today. Seems like the boat is sinking but...he is right there with you! You gotta keep that faith strong! God will make a way! He loves you there's no escaping that truth!
